Frank:
Originally
from Cleveland, Ohio; Frank began making monsters in the 5th
grade. By 11th grade he had found local makeup artist Carl
Taliaferro to teach him the rough basics of prosthetic
makeup. Soon after graduating high school, Frank met up with
Scott Gamble who gave him his first real special
effects
job working on the Batman Stunt suits for the Six
Flags theme parks.(More)

George Lucas character makeup was done in 9 Foam latex pieces
(nose, chin, cheeks, neck, ears and eye bags)
and all glued down with Beta Bond Plus and Telesis
4 Adhesive.
4.) "The
make-up was painted with a pax formula including Beta Bond
Adhesive and detailed out withSkin
Illustrator.
The
Wig and beard (made by Erwin Kupitz) was attached with
Telesis 5 Matte Lace Adhesive and the whole makeup
was removed with the assistance of IPM Gel.
